‘Being a GLOCAL Connector has been an enlightening journey. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences with my non-local peers, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of different cultures and perspectives. The friendships we’ve built go beyond campus and they’ve made Hong Kong feel more like a home to all of us.’

‘As a GLOCAL Connector, I learned to lead interactions. This was a key soft skill developed by me through GLOCAL. Alongside, I enjoyed the freshmen’s company, especially their fresh takes on various aspects of HKU I was so used to.’
